Public bodies members of Oil & Gas lobby

A handful of notable public organisations, including the Met Office, SEPA, Scottish Enterprise and Aberdeen City Council are listed as members of OGUK.

These bodies being members of OGUK seems especially inappropriate because OGUK spent last year waging a public disinformation campaign against the IEA advice nixing new fossil fuel developments.

OGUK misrepresented new developments as being about meeting national energy needs, and they misleadingly cited the CCC as saying we would continue to need fossil fuels for decades, ergo continued North Sea development is net zero compatible.
