Covid Vaccination Rollout
In Scotland we have focused on vaccinating NHS workers rather than the priorities of care home residents (and their carers) and the 80+. In England, care home workers are being invited into clinics in hospitals and 80+ who are attending outpatient in hospital have been prioritised for the vaccine - its only given to front line health staff if English hospitals have spare capacity. Rumours are that all sorts of NHS staff (not just front line) in Scotland have managed to get vaccinated including receptionists, catering staff, pharmacists and IT support staff. As the scientists say we should be prioritising vaccination of those most at risk of severe COVID illness first. It seems Scotland is missing a trick.

VicWhat about all the front facing NHS staff at NHS Lothian hospitals who still have not received their first Covid jag as of 28 February.
There ARE plenty of such staff still patiently waiting to be called forward!
